
Black Monday Social Style Guide
For Season 3 of Black Monday, Showtime approached us to reimagine the creative direction with a fresh social toolkit that captured the show's bold tone and unmistakable '80s energy. Our task was to craft a visual system that felt era-authentic while staying true to the distinct personalities and chaos of the series.
We developed a comprehensive social style guide that pulled directly from the decade’s aesthetic—vibrant color palettes, retro textures, geometric forms, and stylized backplates that nodded to vintage design while feeling elevated and intentional. Each design element was crafted to reflect the show's irreverent tone and its ensemble of high-stakes, high-fashion characters.
Through iterative exploration and moodboarding, we built a toolkit that gave Showtime the flexibility to create episodic and evergreen content, while ensuring visual cohesion across platforms. The result: a creative foundation that felt unapologetically '80s, unmistakably Black Monday, and fully ready for social.
